RuPaul's Drag Race

I seriously love this show! It has gained a lot of followers since the first season.  It is LGBTQ friendly, which i proudly support.  Basically, its a reality tv show that contestants put their best drag forward, to win the grand prize at the end of the season.  This show is so hilarious, they have the funniest one-liners and they're so witty!  Depending on the season, there is always drama between the contestants.  So if you love drama, you should def watch this show.  Also, their makeup skills is amazing and out of this world.

Pit Bulls & Parolees

This is such a tear jerking show on Animal Channel.  It is such a great show because Tia, who is the owner of the sanctuary, gives parolees a job opportunity.  Her husband was in jail so she understands how hard it is for them to get jobs after they get out of jail.  Also, pitbulls are the most misunderstood breed of dogs.  Everyone has their own stereotype about them, which is made out to be that they are very mean and vicious animal.  But Tia, shows America that they are actually very sweet and they were just treated bad in their past, and with a loving family they can be very loving towards their owners.  America has to just understand them more and realize that they aren't a bad breed.  Every time I watch an episode, I begin to cry immediately because it is so sad what people can do to animals.  They just leave their dogs out to die on a chain instead of taking them to a shelter or giving them away to loving family.   It makes me upset to see that people actually have the audacity to do such a thing.  I am very glad to see people like Tia helping the animals out there in the world.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I'm anticipating the new season airing soon on FX!  If you ever watched this show and thought it was the dumbest yet greatest thing that was created, I agree.  This show is so hilarious because they do such dumb things.  It's basically about four friends... and Frank who have such big egos and they're very arrogant and together they own an Irish pub in Philadelphia.  If you ever wanted to watch the whole 11 seasons, its on Netflix!  I can't get enough of this show and all of the cast's shenanigans.

Grey's Anatomy

This show my mom actually got me into watching when it first started.  They are now on Season 12 but most of the original cast isn't on still except for about 4 of them.  I personally believe that the original cast is the best but I still enjoy watching the new cast as well.  Basically this show is about the lives of the doctors from when they were interning as doctors to actually becoming doctors.  There is a lot of drama that goes on in this show, and a lot of tears will be shed... I promise you that.

Superstore

This is a fairly new television show on NBC.  They are on their third season that recently just started.  It is basically about the employee's lives inside the store Cloud 9.  It is hilarious and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a good laugh for 30 mins.  If you have a Hulu, you should watch it on there because there are no commercials to deal with.

Love & Hip Hop

Reality TV...
What is there to say about them? Well, they are very addicting to watch!  I love this reality tv series, they have Love & Hip Hop: New York (the original), Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, and lastly my favorite, Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood.  This is such an addicting series to watch because if you like rap/hip hop you will probably know the cast that are in it.  These include, Soulja Boy, Ray J, Omarion, etc to name a few.  It is basically about their drama and their daily life of what they go through at home and with fellow cast members.  Even though, you might not be a sucker for reality tv, this one might change your view and get you stuck watching all the episodes in one sitting!  My recommendation is to watch either New York or Hollywood because those are the best ones in my opinion.

SUPERNATURAL

If you love fantasy horror television with a bit of humor, this tv show is definitely for you! It is about two brothers, Dean and Sam Winchester, who follow their father's footsteps as "hunters" by fighting the supernatural.  It consists of monsters, demons, gods, etc that roam North America and they go across the country killing them and keeping America safe.  It can get a little scary at times, but there are some episodes that are just laugh out loud, hilarious.  They are currently on their 12th season that is in the works, as we speak.  If you want to catch up on it, I suggest watching it on Netflix because they have all 11 seasons!

Catfish: The TV Show

This week I will be talking about the reality show called, Catfish.  You may or may not know what a catfish is, but it is basically someone who pretends to be someone else via the internet and start to talk to them.  This show actually started off as a movie created by Nev and Max, but because so many people were getting catfished, they decided to help people out and find out the truth.  This show is can be super mind boggling because it can sometimes be their relative doing it to them to get back at them, or it could be someone they know talking to them with a different alias and it trips you out.  I suggest this show if you like a lot of twists and mystery in a reality show.

Law & Order: SVU

This week, I am presenting a long time favorite tv show of mine.  Law & Order franchise has been around for decades, but this one is about SVU.  This is my favorite Law & Order because their story lines and their characters to me, are better than the others.  I also love how the newer seasons Oliva Benson, who is played by Mariska Hargitay, is the female leader of the show.  She is one of the main lead characters who was with this franchise since SVU started.  I recommend this show since there are a lot of drama and action just in one episode and it will leave you wanting more... and more!

The Mindy Project

THE MINDY PROJECT.
Oh, one of my all time favorite shows to ever enter my life.  The Mindy Project is such a great show to watch if you are a hopeless romantic, sassy, independent, and funny woman.  Mindy Kaling is the star of the show and she came from another show called The Office.  I love this show so much that I watched all four seasons, twice; and I'm anticipating the fifth season.  I recommend people watching this because it is so witty and Mindy isn't what you would call a ideal supermodel woman.  So she has so much confidence in herself, which is admirable, and also there are jokes about her weight or how much she eats that isn't offensive but rather laughable.  This show also shows her as a strong independent woman and I really love that because not a lot of tv shows has women for a strong lead role.  I suggest to anyone out there to give it a shot because once you get hit with all the laughter and the relatable content you will fall in love with this show.
